The observatory is spread over 100 acres of forest and has a 93 inch telescope which is the largest in india. This observatory has given many famous scientific theories and discoveries. 4. Yelagiri : It is a small hill station in Vellor. There are various lakes and waterfalls which attracts tourist towards this place.
